Most mushrooms sold at the grocery store are grown in compost. Our mushrooms are grown on hardwood sawdust or straw, giving them a distinct flavor and texture. Plus, our mushrooms are sold in mere days of harvest and are not shipped from the other side of the country, allowing us to provide the freshest mushrooms!

Fresh Gourmet Mushrooms have a shorter shelf life than many store-bought mushrooms. Please store in the refrigerator in a paper bag and consume, dehydrate, cook or freeze soon after purchase.
